A Woodland Summer Feast: Scents from the Heart of Honeyswell

As the days grow longer and hotter, Honeyswell comes alive with summer’s first bounties. The early summer fruits and vegetables, planted while the mornings were still crisp, spill from the Honeyswell gardens, ripe and sweet and full of flavor.

The residents of Honeyswell were as welcoming as they were generous with their harvest. We spent long, languid days under the boughs of shade trees, chatting with Famer Sibyl about her prized watermelons, catching up with the sharp Scout Swiftwing, and listening to Foreman Hugh’s words of wisdom. There was never a moment when our stomachs and hearts weren’t full.

Inspired by such generosity, we immediately set to work upon our return to create scents that did justice to our time in Honeyswell. We’ve designed three new soy wax candle scents that represent the boundless plenty and unbridled joy that is summertime with good friends. Kick back, grab a glass of lemonade, and don’t forget a sweet treat while we introduce these new candles!

Introducing the Summer Feast Collection

Inspired by a sun-drenched picnic in the heart of Honeyswell, the Summer Feast collection features three whimsical scents that celebrate the season’s simple pleasures. From refreshing drinks to garden harvests and foraged treats, each candle captures a different flavor of summer in full bloom. Let’s dig in!

Foreman Hugh’s Lavender Lemonade

Bright lemon zest • Cool lavender sprigs • A hint of wild honey

“Oy, where’s the rest of the lemonade?” hollers Mason, pulling off his leather work jerkin.

“Foreman Hugh’s bringin’ a fresh pitcher ‘round now,” replies Chisel, rubbing her calloused hands together. “Boy, am I thirsty.”

“Not so fast,” the Foreman chides gently. “Someone needs to help me squeeze these lemons first—” his voice is drowned out by enthusiastic volunteers as the badgers get to work.

After a long day hauling stone and setting beams beneath the summer sun, the badger stonemasons of Honeyswell gather 'round a shady table and pour tall glasses of Foreman Hugh’s famous lavender lemonade. Sharp citrus sparkles over crushed herbs, mellowed by a drizzle of honey harvested from the hilltop hives. It’s cooling, calming, and just the thing to soothe tired paws and sun-warmed fur.

This candle opens with a sparkling citrus top note—clean, tart lemon that instantly brightens the room. As it burns, soft lavender unfurls underneath, grounding the blend with a gentle herbal calm. A touch of honey lingers in the background, adding a subtle warmth without turning too sweet. The result is refreshing, balanced, and effortlessly clean, like sipping something chilled in midsummer.

Farmer Sybil’s Summer Salad

Juicy watermelon • Crushed garden herbs • Sweet greens

“Well, Miss Sybil,” says Leroy Hopper, looking out over the garden, “I think you’ve outdone yourself this year.” His velvety nose sniffs the air heartily—and his stomach rumbles.

“You say that every year, Hopper,” replies Sybil, drizzling sweet dressing over a bed of crisp greens. “Won’t you join us for supper?”

“We’ve got plenty to share,” Basil says, with a wink and a nod.

Down in the valley, Farmer Sybil’s fields stretch emerald and abundant. Rabbits in wide-brimmed hats harvest armfuls of leafy greens and sun-ripened melons, mixing them into an herby, juicy summer salad fit for a celebration.

Don’t let the name fool you—this candle is far more enchanting than any tossed greens. It opens with the juicy burst of fresh-cut watermelon, sweet but never cloying. Hints of basil and cooling herbs rise next, giving it an almost spa-like freshness. An undercurrent of green stems and subtle florals rounds out the burn, making this scent unexpectedly soothing and invigorating.

Scout Swiftwing’s Wildberry Scones

Ripe wild berries • Buttery pastry crust • Warm forest air

“Incoming, lads!” cries Maggie, landing among the rest of her compatriots. Her rucksack bulges with juicy berries.

“Splendid haul today!” Trinket calls in greeting, clapping a wing on Maggie’s back. “We’ll have scones until Christmas!”

“Until NEXT Christmas!” answers Swiftwing excitedly, which causes the whole canopy to erupt in cheerful song.

High above in the trees, the magpie scouts are on the move with their beaks full of berries and minds full of recipes. Once the day’s foraging is done, Swiftwing swoops into the glade with a basket of rustic scones, baked with whatever the forest offered that morning. This scent is rich and jammy, with golden pastry notes and just a hint of woodland charm baked in.

This candle smells of something just baked, berry-stained and golden. Sweet wildberries lead the way, rich and jammy, followed by warm, buttery notes that evoke fresh scones pulled from the oven. As the candle settles, you’ll catch a whisper of sun-dappled woods—something earthy and soft, like the forest leaning in to watch. It’s a cozy, nostalgic burn with a hint of adventure.
