Description

Humid, Subtle, Cavernous

Notes: Water, Clay, Black Powder

Miles of winding tunnels form a maze of danger and mystery. Torches flicker against the damp cavern walls as you approach your destination… or perhaps your doom. An eerie wind blows from behind you, urging you deeper into the darkness.

Complimentary Scents: If you appreciate Dungeon Depths we suggest the light subtle notes in Library Scriptorium and the complex watery notes of Brinewater Tides

*Dice not included

Made with 100% Soy Wax and poured in small batches

Sweeter and more floral than expected

I think maybe I can discern the dungeon-y notes a little but the strongest impression for me was sweet and floral. It kind of reminded me of gardenia. But judged as a floral it's nice--pleasant and a bit different, with fleeting extra notes of maybe musk or spice, almost smells watery sometimes? (Review based on sampler tea light.)

Smells like a dungeon!

This is the first TTRPG themed candle that actually smelled like an underground, water on stone, honest to god dungeon. It's a pleasant smell, but it really evokes the thing you want it to evoke.

Can't wait to use this for our dnd session that my players will be sneaking into a cave of goblins!

A Cave in a Candle

Do you ever think about your connection to the water you drink? Mine comes from a well. Rains brought it, where it soaked in the dirt and seeped down through the soil, collecting minerals and microbes, until it ran together and collected in an underground well. This candle is that smell- the smell of cool water someplace dark underground, the smell of cold rock untouched by sun, the dank chilliness of moist air. It has a good presence and fills my room. Definitely one of my favorites.
