The Black Hound Tavern is a dark and cozy spot that’s perfect for anyone who fancies a bit of quiet. What they lack in conversation they make up for with strong drink. The smell of barrel aged whiskey permeates the room. The warm, crackling fireplace makes for the ideal spot to sit and enjoy one of the many stiff brews the tavern has to offer. Just remember to tip the barkeep well.

Complimentary Scents: If you appreciate Black Hound Tavern we suggest the leather and red wine notes in Den of Thieves or if you like a little coffee with your whiskey try out Irish Coffee.

This 16oz candle has nearly 3 times more wax than our standard size and are double wicked for a clean, even burn. Each large candle includes a metallic d20 dice INSIDE THE CANDLE that feels absolutely magnificent to roll. The candle's burn time is approximately 70 hours and is capable of filling a large area. To top it all off, they cast a romantic glow on the table as the flame flickers through beautiful glass.

The Perfect Skullduggery Immersion

One of my favorite scents next to Sanctuary! Probably the next best place for a rogue to end up after a night of drinks and bar fights. Or the worst.

Truly - the best

Now listen - I'm obsessed with candles. I've ordered hundreds (I cringe saying that) online and have been scouring the shelves in stores for the perfect scent. Black Hound Tavern, is it. It's like being whisked away to a corner table by the fire in a hobbit-owned tavern. It burns clean and lasts much longer than typical 16oz candles even when burning daily. You can't go wrong with any of the Cantrip Candles collection - but this is an absolute favorite for any time of the year.

Love this scent

As an avid whiskey enjoyer this candle nails the scent of oak and whiskey. And of course the d20 at the bottom is a welcome bonus!

Good smell, firewood is lost

The candle smells good, but there is little to no scent of firewood (at least that my nose can detect). Nevertheless, I am excited to gift this to my DM for his birthday. I even bought another candle in a different scent for myself!
