Abella, Goddess of Rebirth has lived 10,000 lives, being born to a different set of parents time and time again. In each of her lives, she’s faced a series of struggles and lessons, sometimes rising above them, and sometimes failing. Nevertheless, she’s managed to enrich the lives of others through story, song, and humor. Choosing this cyclical life of birth and renewal, Abella keeps the memories of her past lives as tattoos on her skin. It is not uncommon for her to sacrifice her own life in an effort to save another's, trusting in the knowledge that she will be reborn.

Warm and Vivid

I bought this candle a while ago after really enjoying Florence, Prince of Death. Abella is a warmly fragranced candle that when not burning strongly smells of cinnamon and a floral blend that is light and pairs well with cinnamon's warm dryness. When burning, the scents all blend together nicely, in a very warm and dry way that's perfect for summer (or longing for it to return) and evoke a feeling of an open air market in a small village somewhere on a grassy plane in summer, flowers blooming in the nearby fields while children shriek and laugh as they pick them.

That is to say that I enjoy it very much. By the candle's narrative description, Abella seems to be a kind goddess with a strong sense of community, and I think the candle evokes that nicely. Plus, it smells wonderful.

10/10 would buy again if I wasn't currently working my way through the whole line.

Love the bright and sunny feeling this scent evokes, especially as summer starts, but the other notes help mellow out the citrus to keep it from overwhelming you. Absolutely love this one!
