Ancient temples to gods not yet born, untamed hinterlands with even less domesticated mythological beasts, cemeteries where the grave dirt is always best described as “fresh tilled,” witches, brigands, kindly hospitable hermits who definitely are not waiting for the moment you fall asleep, traps, treasure hoards, and so many more delicious dangers that your DM will not spoil here because there is no sweeter sound than players gasping in surprise.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis campaign is run West Marches-style, where players put together their own adventuring parties intent upon exploring a certain location, then schedule that for a Saturday (during live shop hours) with the DM. Bigotry simply would not make sense to the characters in this world, just as it does not make sense in our world.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSorry, there’s no sexy-time in these adventures either. We’re running during shop hours so if you’re gonna flirt with your friends, you gotta do that in another game.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWe DO have fantasy violence. Oh the ridiculous violence! Think your standard swords and sorcery, undead creatures, harpies picking dudes up flying into the air then dropping them (yikes), the occasional melting of the adventurer next to you with a breath weapon (Gary!), and so forth. While the MPAA would give it an R rating, the vibe is more actiony\/comedy-y.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSometimes there is coarse language. Yes, your puritanical ears could twitch as an odd curse word slips out here and there. But again, there will be customers afoot so we’re gonna try our damnedest not to frighten the horses tethered outside the shop.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eYour DM is also flexible so if there are additional content styles that would take you out of the perilous fun, that can be discussed in private. Should something come up during a session, we can always adjust on the fly.
