It's not necessarily unique, as it smells like your standard ocean scent. However, for an ocean scented candle it smells fresh instead of fake or noxious.

A bright, unique scent that does evoke visions of the seaside! This candle is a bit more deliberately perfume-y than others like Black Hound Tavern or Library Scriptorium, but it still maintains a natural, subtle presence when burned. I can mostly identify the cedarwood and ozone in this candle when I light it, and while it's hard to describe precisely, it's very pleasant, and this small tin was enough to fill my whole living room.
